Description

This painting of a little girl in a birdie suit pretending to fly by jumping out of her crib is one of the illustrations I completed for the children's book "When You Were a Baby Jayhawk" by author Jennifer Bennett (Mascot Publishing, 2012). I was particularly compelled by the reflection of afternoon light on her face through the window.
